DISCOVER OUR STORY
Allow us to boast a bit... We're proud to be the first beverage company in North America to collect blue box materials to produce our 100% recycled plastic bottles, USING NO NEW PLASTIC.
Beginning in 1995, we have rapidly grown to become one of the largest water bottling companies in North America. At heart, we are a family-owned operation from a farming background. We organically farm about 3,000 acres as part of our source protection plan. We believe that in taking care of the land, the land will take care of you. We started to look at the environmental footprint of our water business and decided that we wanted to be different.
REDEFINING BOTTLED WATER
We're changing the way you see bottled water. Every day, we continue to reduce our carbon footprint, finding new ways to recycle, reduce energy consumption and minimize waste. We've built upon the values of environmental stewardship, innovation along with an ethical, business model that ultimately offers consumers a high-quality, healthy bottled water beverage at a great value.
PRIVATE LABEL BOTTLING
Without even knowing it, you've probably had our natural spring and purified water in more places than one. Ice River supplies many of North America's leading grocery, drug, mass merchandise chains and foodservice operators with private label bottled water - a product that is convenient, healthy and delivers tremendous value.
We are the only North American Bottler with a plastics recycling operation that self-manufactures recycled PET into 100% recycled bottles using the most state-of-the-art equipment possible. To top this off, we buy post-consumer baled P.E.T. from Material Recovery Facilities (MRF); post-consumer soda and beverage bottles, condiment bottles, and other types of food packages. We also offer our 100% RPET bottle, and recognize retailers appreciate that we don't make new plastic and are happy to put their own brand on a bottle that represents sustainability.
Our team excels when it comes to lean manufacturing of our bottled water: high quality, low cost, minimal waste. We know life isn't one-size-fits-all. That's why we manufacture and fill a wide variety of bottle sizes. Our most popular is 16.9 fl oz (500mL), but we also make bottles as small as 8 fl oz (250mL), and as large as 4 gallons (15L). You want multipacks, too? We've got them, in a variety of configurations. With thirteen bottling operations across the United States and Canada we efficiently service all our markets.
