Water is essential for life. We are taught that in school. It also helps mums, dads, sisters, brothers, teachers and grandparents maintain a healthy lifestyle and helps their children develop good habits. Eat natural foods, avoid sugar and get plenty of exercise. It is easy to say but so hard to do.
Drinking water helps you avoid calories. People who are dieting have been using it as a weight loss strategy for years. It is not magic but it helps control food cravings with zero calories – yes zero.
Drink water instead of sugary beverages. Often we don’t realize just how much sugar is contained in everyday beverages. We need to be aware because there is mounting evidence that refined sugars are unhealthy, not just because they contain calories we don’t need, but also because they trick our bodies into storing fat. And also, surprisingly, rather than making us feel energetic they sap our energy.
Water keeps our muscles and joints working at their best. Water also flushes toxins from our body and keeps our skin hydrated.
